WHAT IS
SHRMUN'25?
ŞHRMUN is a three-day international relations simulation for both middle and high schools. At ŞHRMUN, delegates learn about how the United Nations works and the dynamics of international relations by talking on the roles of world leaders and international decision-makers. Delegates discuss important topics like international security, politics, human rights,
sustainability and more. By being creative in many engaging and innovative committees, they learn how to work together, solve problems and create solutions for global issues. We want them to think carefully about the world and come up with new, bold ideas.
We want delegates to think carefully about the world and come up with new ideas. Why do international organizations like the United Nations exist? What is their impact on international sustainability and peace? How do we balance a country’s needs with the needs of the whole world? How can we make sure that those with power use it responsibly? What can young people do to make changes in their own communities and the world? This year, ŞHRMUN will give delegates from all over the country a chance to take part in an exciting, educational experience where they can improve and show their skills. It’s this passion, dedication and care that make ŞHRMUN one of the top Model UN conferences.
